My name is Auckje, and to be honest, I started this blog because I was bored. It now is the thing worth getting up for in the morning, but it wasn’t like that at first. You see, when I graduated from highschool about four years ago I desired an education that was way to expensive for me. I decided to work for a year save a lot of money, and than enter that school. But work was very apealing, and my career was also moving forward overthere. I started as I fulltime Sales Employee at WE Netherlands BV. in Eindhoven, Piazza. Perhaps you’ve heard of it, or seen it.. It’s a great store. After a while I made a good impression at my bosses and they decided that I could do so much more. I was trained to be an assistent manager, storemanager trainee, and eventually, I got to run my own store in Tilburg. Which was fun, so much fun… But it had taken me three years to do that and at this point I’m 22 with an ‘ok-job’, making some money and even having a very own mortgage with my boyfriend, but still no education.
Time moves quickly when you’re having fun, and that’s exaclty what happend to me. It never used to be a dream of mine to run a store, especially not for the next 40-something years ahead of me. That’s why I decided to try to get in to Amsterdam Fashion Institute. It has always been a dream to work in Fashion so this could be a solution.
Well, I got in.. Quit my job really fast, because it started to become less fun when I had decided for myself that I was going to quit. This resulted in a 7 week holiday of doing absolutely nothing, before college starts…
All the time I needed to start a blog…
What’s there to tell besides this? I’m living with my boyfriend and two beautiful cats, Ziggy and Lena. We’ve been together now for over seven years, and intend to go on for a long time to yet to come. If you have any questions, fire away!!
